Police arrested Anil Rokaya,30, of Dharmadevi Municipality-4 on October 30 for the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office on May 13, accusing Rokaya of raping the minor on April 18. Following the complaint, the accused had been absconding, but was later arrested from Chainpur Municipality for further investigation,as per DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali of the District Police Office. The victim underwent a medical examination at the District Hospital, and police stated that further investigation into the case is underway.
