A complaint has been filed with the police by the families of two missing children, a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
The girl from Ikrai Tol, Barahachhetra Municipality–3, has been missing since October 27, 2025 while the boy from Barahachhetra Municipality–4 has been missing since October 18. Their families have lodged complaints with the police seeking their whereabouts.
According to reports, the girl left her home on October 27 saying she was going to her sister’s house in Bahuni Tol, Barahachhetra Municipality–10, but has been out of contact since then. The family filed a missing person complaint at the Bangge Police Post on October 28.
Similarly, the boy from Mathillo Jamatoki, Barahachhetra Municipality–4, left home on October 18 saying he was going to visit the Koshi Bridge and has been out of contact since. His family filed a missing person complaint at the Bharoul Police Post on October 27.
Based on the complaints and descriptions provided by the families, police have circulated notices to all units and initiated a search for the missing children, according to DSP Yogaraj Khatiwada of the District Police Office.
