During the movement, police arrested Rabin Acharya, 35 of Indrawati Rural Municipality–3, Sindhupalchok District, on October 14, 2025, after he had escaped from Nakkhu Jail.
Rabin, who had been serving a sentence in a rape case, was arrested by a team deployed from the Armed Police Force Nepal Battalion No. 15 Headquarters while he was traveling from Kathmandu toward Chautara. The arrest took place at Budol, Banepa Municipality–6. After the arrest, Rabin Acharya was handed over to the District Police Office, Kavre, according to DSP Rameshwar Twati of the Banepa Area Police Office.
