During the movement, on October 10, 2025, police arrested Hirabahadur BK, 47 of Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality–5, Malkwang, who had escaped from Kaski Jail. He was apprehended on October 13 from Thaibang, Mangala Rural Municipality–2.
BK, who had been serving a jail sentence in a killing case at Kaski Jail, was taken into custody by police and sent to Myagdi District Jail for necessary legal action, according to Information Officer Sagar Poudel of the Myagdi District Police Office.
