Police arrested Jiwan Achhami Sarki,32, of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-3 on October 10 for raping a 64-year-old woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on October 10, stating that the accused had raped the woman on October 9. The victim underwent a medical examination at Province Hospital, Lamjung, on October 10.
