A complaint has been filed at the District Police Office, Salyan on November 25 against Lal Bahadur Bohara, 24, of Githachaur in Bangad Kupinde Municipality-9 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
According to the victim, she was raped on February 2, 2021. Inspector Shyam Prasad Yadav of the District Police Office, Salyan informed that the incident was discovered on November 17 during a health checkup. The victim informed the doctor that she was raped.
The victim’s family had informed the police immediately after they came to know about the incident. Police said the accused is absconding after the incident and a search is ongoing.
The girl’s health checkup was conducted at Salyan Hospital on November 25.
