Police arrested Mahesh Kumar Raut,40, from Bishnu Rural Municipality-2 on 20 September for attempting to rape a 37-year-old woman.
The victim had filed a complaint at the Malangwa District Police Office on 22 July, stating that the accused had mentally tortured,subjected her to beating and attempted to rape her on 7 July 2025. Her health examination was conducted at Malangwa District Hospital on 23 July.
