The body of 31-year-old Jamuna Tamang from Kalanti Gagal, Panauti Municipality-12, who had been missing for three days, was found buried in a backyard. Her husband, Santbahadur Tamang,36, who had escaped from Nakkhu Jail during the Gen Z protests, had come home and killed her after a few days of domestic disputes.
Tamang had been serving a three-year sentence for rape, with only one month remaining. The couple had two children, an 11-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter.
DSP Rameshwar Twati of the Baneppa Area Police Office stated that the police are investigating the case.
