According to the District Prison of Rautahat, Ladai Sah Teli, 26, of Devahi Gonahi Municipality-7 committed suicide inside the prison on November 17, 2021.
According to Jailer Sambhu Prasad Yadav, Teli was found hanging after his friends searched inside the toilet of the prison.
The body is kept at the District Hospital of Gaur for post-mortem. He was serving 21 years jail term since April 17, 2019, for being guilty of abduction, hostage keeping and rape.
