Dadeldhura Multiple Campus, once a major center for higher education in the seven hilly districts of Sudurpaschim Province, has remained unrepaired for a long time. Because of this, students are forced to study in old and damaged buildings, putting their safety at risk.

The Dadeldhura Multiple Campus, built in 1999 BS, has now developed major cracks and roof leaks. Around 400 to 500 students are forced to study in this risky building. According to the campus administration, the building has 10 rooms. During the conflict period, the then Maoists bombed the building, causing severe damage. Although it was later repaired, nearly 25 years later, the structure has again fallen into a dilapidated condition. Indra Saud, a student at the campus, said that the poor condition of the building has made it very difficult to conduct classes. He complained that not only does the roof leak during rain, but the campus also lacks the basic physical infrastructure needed for effective education.
FSU member Sharmila Od said that when a class is running in one room, it can be heard in the next room, which disrupts the learning environment. She also said that the building is in very bad condition, and if it is not repaired soon, thereis a risk of accidents. Bhakta Bahadur Kathayat, Assistant Campus Chief, mentioned that although the building was repaired after being damaged by a bomb blast during the conflict period, it has now developed new cracks and is once again in poor condition.
He said that deep cracks have appeared in the beams and walls of the building, and there is a risk that it could collapse at any time, leading to a serious incident. Therefore, he stressed that the concerned authorities must provide support for immediate repair of the building.
