Police arrested Khagendra BK, 37, of Namuna Chowk, Sundarharaicha Municipality–6, on July 26 for the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belbari on July 25 alleging that he raped the girl on July 24, 2025.
Based on the complaint, the accused was taken into custody for investigation, according to DSP Kopila Chudal of the District Police Office.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Koshi Hospital on July 25.
