Police arrested Pitambar Shah Teli, 23, of Partewa Sugauli Rural Municipality-7, Nichuta on June 8 for raping a 39-year-old woman. The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Parsa on June 8, stating that the accused raped her on the same day. DSP Kishor Lamsal informed that the accused has been arrested and the District Court has ordered a five-day extension to proceed with the investigation.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Narayani Hospital in Birgunj on June 8.
