Police arrested Tirtha Bahadur Kami, 52, of Balefi Rural Municipality-2 on June 31 for raping a 31-year-old woman.
The victim had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on April 27 alleging that the accused had raped the woman on April 22. The accused had been absconding after the incident.
The health examination of the woman was done at the Chautara Hospital on April 27.
