The District Court sentenced Nural Hasan Gaddi of Gulariya Municipality-11 to three months in prison for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl. The bench of District Court Judge Manoj Shrestha on May 15 sentenced the accused along with Rs 10,000 as fine, compensation of Rs 25,000, and Rs 400 to the victim’s relief fund. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 15 February, stating that the accused sexually abused the girl on the same day.
Police arrested the accused on 15 February. The health examination of the victim was done at Bardiya Hospital, Gulariya, on the same day.
