Lal Bahadur Sarki, 39, attempted suicide after killing his 40-year-old wife Manisha Sarki of Narayandal Chowk in Kankai Municipality 5. It is reported that he killed Manisha with a khukuri on March 24 following a dispute over her phone conversation with her former husband.
After killing his wife, Lal Bahadur attempted to take his own life by slitting his throat, according to his brother, Surendra Sarki. Lal Bahadur sustaining injuries was taken to B&C Hospital Birtamod on March 24.
