The District Court Sentenced Tilbahadur Makam Magar, 41, to seven years imprisonment for raping a 76-year-old woman. The bench of Prakash Koirala on 25 February gave the verdict along with a fine of Rs 3,00,000, and Rs 25,000 compensation to the victim.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint on 15 March 2024 at the District Police Office accusing that the accused had raped the woman on 14 March. The accused was arrested on 16 March.
