Police arrested 21-year-old Sanjay Kurmi of Marchbari Rural Municipality-6 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl on 16 November. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office on November 15 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on November 5.
The health examination of the victim was done on 17 November at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
