Police arrested 45-year-old Nirmal Thapa of Kanchan Rural Municipality-4 on October 26, 2024 for the charge of raping a 35-year-old woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Saljhandi, on 27 October alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 26 October.
The health examination of the victim was done on 26 October at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
