Police arrested 46-year-old Dasharath Rawat of Simkot Rural Municipality-6 on October 15, on charges of vandalizing the Nepal Airlines office.
Inspector Suresh Subedi reported that Chirring Lama, the station in-charge of Nepal Airlines in Humla, filed a complaint at the District Police Office on the same day, alleging that Rawat broke the window of the office in anger after being denied an air ticket to Nepalgunj from Humla.
Based on Lama’s complaint, Rawat is currently in police custody, and an investigation is underway, according to Inspector Subedi.
