Police arrested a 70-year-old senior citizen of Urlabari Municipality-8 on the charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old granddaughter. It is reported that victim had informed her school teacher on 25 September that the accused had sexually abused her on 23 May. The teacher subsequently filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Urlabari on 25 September.
DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet of the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested on 25 September based on the complaint, and further investigation is going on. The health examination of the victim was done on 25 September at Mangalbare Hospital, Urlabari.
