A complaint has been filed with the police against two individuals for beating a 14-year-old boy from Inaruwa Municipality-9, Babiya. Dipendra Yadav, 48, the boy’s father, informed that they filed the complaint on August 27 against 55-year-old Devram Yadav and 32-year-old Rosh Kumar Yadav, both from Inaruwa Municipality-9, for beating the minor on August 26.
He additionally alleged that the accused subjected his son to beating during a general dispute. The boy, who sustained injuries to various parts of his body, has been receiving treatment at the district hospital since August 26. District Police Office DSP Nabin Krishna Bhandari stated that the accused will be arrested, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
Article 39 (7) of the Constitution of Nepal guarantees the rights of children, stating: “No child shall be subjected to physical, mental, or any other forms of torture at home, in school, or any other places or situations.”
