Police arrested 21-year-old Dipendra Das of Brindaban Municipality-5 of Rautahat, currently living in Makwanpur, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-4 on August 5 for the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at Makwanpur District Police Office on July 20 alleging that the victim was threatened and raped repeatedly from 22 July 22 to 2 August.
The accused was arrested from Makwanpur on August 5 and was sent to the District Police Office, Gorkha on August 6, according to DSP Ramesh Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha. The health examination of the victim was conducted on August 6 at the District Hospital, Gorkha.
