Police arrested 20-year-old Sujan Thapa of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-7, Gulmi currently residing at Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-11 on July 19 for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl .
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police office, Butwal on July 18 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on July 11.
Bijaya Raj Pandey of Area Police Office, Butwal informed INSEC that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed and further investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 17 July at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
