Police arrested 50-year-old Lilly Devi Khatri on June 4 for the charge of killing her 55-year-old husband Bhim Bahadur Khatri Chhetri of Sandhikharka Municipality-16.
Inspector Ishwari Adhikari of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 4 alleging that Khatri killed her husband with a sharp weapon on June 3 during a domestic dispute.
The post mortem of the body was done on June 4 at District Hospital, Sandhikharka. The body was handed over to the victim’s family and cremated on the same day.
