The District Court of Parbat sentenced a 17-year-old boy to 12 years imprisonment for the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. The juvenile was kept in a reform home for pre-trial detention.
The bench of the Judge Bidyanath Paudel on May 12 sentenced the juvenile to 12 years imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 2,00000. The parents of the victim girl filed a complaint at the district police office Parbat on 25 October 2023 alleging that the accused raped the victim on October 23.
The health examination of the victim girl was done on October 25 at Parbat Hospital.
