Police arrested 36-year-old Chandrabahadur Thapa of Madi Rural Municipality-9, 38-year-old Krishna Ranabhat of Pokhara Metropolitan City-12, and 29-year-old Binod Pariyar of the same place on 7 May for the charge of raping a 40-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office alleging that they took her inside a bus kept in the ground of Amarshingh Chowk on 6 May and raped her.
DSP Basanta Kumar Sharma of District Police Office, Kaski informed that a case was registered against all the accused under the crime of gang rape. In addition, the District Court has extended the date for seven days and the investigation is moved forward.
The health examination of the victim was done on 7 May at the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
