District Police Office Baglung arrested Arjun Bahadur Sarki, 35, on April 17, 2024 for the charge of injuring his 32-year-old wife Dipa Ale of Baglung Municipality-2, Mahendrapath by hitting her with a sharp weapon on the same night.
The victim got seriously injured and is being treated at Gandaki Hospital in Pokhara. A complaint against the accused was filed at the District Police Office, Baglung on April 18. It is reported that the accused after hitting his wife injured himself with the same weapon.
DSP Bijaya Yadav of District Police Office Baglung informed that Arjun arrested from the crime scene is currently being treated at Dhaulagiri Hospital, Baglung. He added that further investigation regarding the incident has already started.
