Police have arrested 35 years old Bijaya Nayak of Melauli VDC-1 on October 10 on charge of murdering his wife Kamala Nayak, 32.
The dead body of the victim was recovered on October 8, hanging in a tree. Though it was said that she committed suicide, however her paternal party had lodged a complaint at police office. Based on the complaint lodged, the accused was arrested by the police for investigation according to DSP Bal Narsingh Rana of District Police Office.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at Primary Health Center on October 10 before the final rites.
