A 15-year-old girl of Aiselukharka Rural Municipality-6, Khotang currently living in Pathari Sanischare Municipality-7 Lamatole was killed by an unknown party with a sharp weapon on the night of 4 March.
According to the District Police Office, the girl studying in class 7 in Panchayat Higher Secondary School was staying at her maternal uncle’s house.
SP Navaraj Karki of the District Police Office said that a thorough investigation with the help of a trained dog has been started. Security personnel were deployed at the scene after the locals informed the police about the incident at 10 pm on 4 March.
