The lifeless body of a 6-year-old visually impaired child from Chandrakot Rural Municipality-3, Harrachour, was found on December 18 . The child was out of contact with his family from December 8, 2023
DSP Dillinarayan Pandey of the District Police Office informed that the locals alerted the police, reporting that the boy was discovered lifeless in the forest approximately one kilometer away from his residence in the afternoon.
Dilliraj Subedi, Ward Chairperson of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-3, mentioned that following the child’s disappearance, an extensive search was conducted everywhere. Unfortunately, the child was discovered lifeless after 10 days.
A police team led by DSP Pandey of the District Police Office reached Harrachour and started the investigation. Postmortem of the dead body was done on December 19 at Gulmi Hospital Tamghas.
