Police arrested 57-year-old Rajendralal Shrestha of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan city-6, from his house on October 10, 2023 on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Butwal Area Police Office on October 11 alleging that the accused had sexually assaulted the victim on October 9.
Daan Bahadur Thapa, DSP of Area Police Office informed that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed and the investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 10, 2023 at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.
