The police arrested the accused who had been absconded for four years after sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl on May 10, 2020.
Police arrested 52-year-old accused Nar Bahadur Dhamala of Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 on October 9, 2023, for charges of sexual abuse.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the district police office on May 21, alleging that the accused had sexually assaulted the victim on May 10, 2020.
Police registered a case against the absconded accused through the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in the District Court on June 17, 2021 under sexual abuse.
The District Court determined a one-year imprisonment sentence and Rs. 25,000 fine on June 17 in that case.
The health examination of the victim was done at the district hospital on May 22, 2021.
