The Police arrested 37-year-old Parvati Silwal and her brother-in-law Kumar Silwal, 35, on September 23 on the charge of attempting to kill a 72-year-old senior citizen Hariprasad Silwal from Siddhlek Rural Municipality-6. They allegedly used a sharp weapon to attack him in response to his inhumane treatment.
Santulal Prasad Jaiswar, DSP of the District Police Office informed that the aggrieved party filed a complaint on September 23 alleging that the accused attempted to kill the victim by hitting him with a sharp weapon on the same day.
The victim is being treated at the Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu. DSP Jaiswar informed INSEC that the accused are currently in custody, and further investigation is going on.
