On August 17, authorities apprehended a 50-year-old individual, identified as Kripal B.K, on charges of allegedly murdering his 40-year-old wife, Kesh Kumari B.K, in the rural vicinity of Baghaiyatal. The incident transpired with the use of a sharp-edged weapon.
According to official sources, the unfortunate event occurred while the victim, Kesh Kumari, was engrossed in cutting grass within a paddy field situated approximately 500 meters distant from her residence. At around 2:00 PM on that fateful day, the accused, Kripal B.K, reportedly approached her from behind and inflicted a fatal blow to her neck with a sharp weapon.
Subsequently, Deputy Superintendent Hikmat Bahadur Bohora of the District Police Office disclosed that the assailant further compounded the brutality by submerging the victim’s body into the water within the field. The incident, as relayed by authorities, involved a premeditated act of violence.
In the aftermath of the incident, Bishal Tamata, a neighbor, notified local law enforcement about the gruesome discovery. The lifeless body of Kesh Kumari B.K was transported to Bardia Hospital Gularia for a post-mortem examination, a procedure that seeks to shed light on the precise details and circumstances surrounding the untimely demise.
