On August 16, a complaint was lodged at the district police office against Santosh Kumar Adhikari, aged 30, for allegedly beating and injuring his sister-in-law, Mandira Adhikari, aged 31, of Manthali Municipality-12, Gelu.
According to the victim, she filed a complaint at the district police office on the same day, reporting that she was assaulted and injured by the accused during a domestic dispute that occurred on August 16.
Inspector Dilip Thapa of the District Police Office informed that the accused reportedly threw a stone at the victim during the domestic dispute, resulting in injuries to her cheek and various parts of her body.
The victim received medical treatment for her injuries at Manthali Hospital on August 16. Inspector Thapa stated that the details of both sides of the incident will be thoroughly examined, and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.
