On August 8th, a 23-year-old individual named Suresh Rawal from Dailekh Dullu Municipality-6 was apprehended by the police on allegations of raping a 16-year-old girl. The victim had lodged a formal complaint at the District Police Office on August 7, asserting that the accused had sexually assaulted her on August 3.
According to Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Narayan Dangi of the District Police Office, the accused transported the victim to a hotel where the assault occurred. DSP Dangi confirmed that the accused has been taken into custody, and an ongoing inquiry is presently underway.
Subsequently, on August 8, a health examination of the victim was conducted at Bheri Hospital as part of the investigative process.
