On July 22, the police apprehended 25-year-old Ganesh Lama from Rapti Municipality-2, following accusations of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl. Chitwan Police Superintendent, DSP Bijayraj Pandit, confirmed that the victim lodged a complaint at the local police office in Bhandara, reporting that the accused had subjected her to repeated sexual assaults.
In response to the serious allegations, a medical examination of the victim was promptly conducted on the same day, July 22, at Bharatpur Hospital, as part of the investigative process. The medical examination aims to gather crucial evidence and assess the extent of harm inflicted on the victim.
