Police registered a complaint against Saraswati Paneru Pandit, a 47-year-old manager of Shandar Hotel, Galchi rural Municipality, Nibuabot on the charge of human trafficking of a 20 and a 21-year-old woman, on May 12 at the District Police Office.
Gautam Mishra, the SP of the District Police Office, said the victims had complained that the accused threatened and lured them to traffick them.
Police arrested the accused on May 10, 2023.
The victims underwent a health examination at Dhading Hospital on May 12, 2023.
The District Court remanded the accused to judicial custody for further investigation and extended the investigation period for three days.
