The aggrieved party filed a case against Subodh Kumar Mahato, 25, on May 4, 2023, at the Area Police Office, Haripur on the charge of rape of a 16-year-old girl.
The victim’s father Subash Mahato, 42, filed a complaint accusing Subodh Kumar Mahato committed the crime of rape on April 24, 2023.
According to Bijay Kuwar, Inspector of Area Police Office, Haripur, the accused absconded to India after the incident and the investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim girl was done on May 4, 2023, at Sarlahi District Hospital.
