The aggrieved party filed a complaint against, Ramprawesh Adhikari Yadav, 36 of Ramnagar Rural Municipality-3 Khairba, on April 17, 2023, at the Area Police Office Barahat, on the charge of attempt to rape a 34-year-old woman.
The victim said the accused tried to rape her in her garden behind her house.
DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra, Barathawa Area Police Office, said that Yadav is absconding and the search is on.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted on April 26 at Sarlahi District Hospital Malangwa
