Police has arrested Khaamma Rana, 70, of Tilagufa-10, Ranawada, from his home on 24 April, in the charge of rape of a 14-year-old girl.
Father of the victim has stated that the victim with disability was constantly raped by the accused since February 2023. A complaint was filed by the aggrieved party on 23 April. The accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and kept under judicial custody for further investigation.
DSP Jayashwor Regmi informed that the medical examination of the victim has been delayed and the case will only be registered following the medical examination on 25 April.
