Santosh Tamang, 30, of Bhojpur Municipality-5, Bokhem residing on Dhankuta Municipaloty-1, has been arrested by the police on January 9, in the charge of attempting to rape a 22-year-old woman.
Victim’s family filed a complaint at the district police office on January 7, alleging that the accused attempted to rape the victim on January 6.
District police office informed that the accused has been arrested for further investigation based on the complaint filed.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at district hospital on January 8.
