Manoj Das, 23, of Lahan Municiplaity-24, has been arrested by the Lahan Area Police Office, on December 30 in the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim’s mother filed a complaint at the local police office in Lahan on December 30, saying that the accused had raped the victim on December 29.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the Provincial Hospital Lahan on December 30.
According to DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali of the Lahan Area Police Office, the police arrested the accused as soon as the victim registered the complaint. The investigation is going on.
