Min Bahadur Waiba, 35, of Jugal Rural Municipality-2, has been arrested by the police on January 1, 2023, in the charge of discriminating and beating Rasmita BC, 28, of Jugal Rural Municipality-2, Kumbeshwor based on her caste.
The victim has alleged that the accused beat her calling her the family of ‘Sarki’ in a derogatory manner on December 28 due to a personal grudge.
Victim had filed a complaint in the district police office against accused Waiba on December 29, stating that he disrciminating her based on her caste and beat her in a public sphere.
Hari Bola KC, Chief of complaint department in the district police office informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed by the victim.
