Father of the victim filed a complaint on December 27 in area police office, Chandranigahapur against Bimal Raut, 25, from Khanikhola Rural Municipality-2, Kavre residing with his relatives in Chandrapur Municipality-3, Gaidatar in the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Chandranighapur hospital on December 27.
DSP Santulal Prasad Jaiswal informed that the accused has been arrested on December 26 based on the verbal complaint and investigation has been initiated against the accused.
