Mohan Baidya Led CPN Revolutionary Maoist start Door-to-door Campaign Asking to Boycott the Upcoming Election

Cadres of the Communist Party of Nepal led by Mohan Baidya have started a door-to-door campaign in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-5 Santapur on November 7, 2022, to boycott the upcoming elections.

Sub-inspector Prabin Dangi said that he was arrested when the police team deployed from the area police office in Dhampur tried to stop him while he was going door-to-door with mic and leaflets asking the locals not to vote and boycott the election in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-3, 4 and 5.

A group of 20/22 people who came on a bus saying that there is no point of holding elections on November 20. They were trying to create fear among the voters and disrupt the elections.

SI Dangi said that they were sent back by an additional police team led by Inspector Prakash Karki of the District Police Office, Kohalpur.
