Sanjan Kamat, 35, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-12 was arrested by police on the charge of rape of a 6-year -old girl on November 1.
The victim filed a verbal complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on November 1. The victim accused Kamat of raping the victim on October 28.
According to DSP Deepak Shrestha, District Police Office, the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint. The victim filed a written complaint against the accused on November 2.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at Koshi Hospital on November 2.
