Police have arrested Ishwari Ganesh Pariyar, 27, of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-8 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. The accused was arrested on October 10, 2022.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Butwal on the charge of rape on October 11. According to the victim, the accused lured and raped her.
DSP Thaga Bahadur K.C of the District Police Office informed that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint and the investigation is ongoing.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at the Lumbini Province Hospital on October 9, 2022.
