Police arrested Rajendra Dhakal, 55, of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-12 on August 31, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy.
The victim filed a complaint at the district police office on the allegation that the accused had sexually abused the child repeatedly and the last time was August 31.
District Police Office DSP Deepak Shrestha said that based on the complaint of the victim, the accused was arrested from his house for investigation.
The accused Dhakal is the Chairperson of NGO Federation Morang. Dhakal has been running an organization called Education Helpline.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at Koshi Hospital on August 31.
