Police have arrested Laxman Balami, 59, of Musikot Municipality- 1 on July 15, 2022, on the charge of attempting to rape a 55-year-old woman.
The victim registered her complaint at the District Police Office on July 17 against the accused for the attempt of rape on July 16.
The DSP of District Police Office Madhav Raj Kharel said that the accused was arrested and investigated on the basis of the filed complaint.
The victim’s relative shared that the attempt to rape was made when the victim was alone at home in the evening.
The victim was medically examined at the hospital in Tamghas on July 17.
